Sausage Cabbage Soup

This soup tastes like Golombki, but is much less work for great results!

Pour 3T. olive oil in large soup pot, and saute':

1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced

Add 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage meat, broken up, and brown it; Drain extra fat.

Add 1 small head cabbage, chopped and cook slightly.


4 28 oz. cans whole tomatoes and liquid
1 bay leaf
1 T. basil
1 tsp. oregano
pinch rosemary
salt and pepper to taste
