Tomato Sauce

Heat in 2 T. oil; saute for 8-10 min.:

2 cups chopped onion
1 meium pepper
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregaon
1 tsp. thyme
1 1/2 tsp. salt

For Marinara, add:

2 cups chooped celery
1 lb. mushrooms
2 zucchini
fresh basil leaves

Meanwhile, bring to a boil and simmer for 20-30 min.:

one large can plum tomatoes
6 oz. tomato paste
1 T. honey

Combine the onion when done to the tomatoes pot.
Add 4-6 cloves minced garlic and cook 10 min. more.

Serve over pasta.
