Pour boiling water over 3 cups bulgur and set aside and stir.

Saute 2 lb. ground lamb and or hamburg combination. Drain and add to:

1 large onion grated
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. allspice
3/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 t. cumin

Gradually add 1/2 cup water and knead the avove. Pat 1/2 of it into a 9 by 13 in. pan.

Melt 4 T. butter. Add 1 1/2 lb. cooked ground lamb.

1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
allspice to taste
1/4 cups pinenuts

Use this as the middle layer.
Pat the rest of the first mixture over the top.
Decorate with pine nuts if desired.

Bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes

Serve with Greek salad.
