Fresh Strawberry Glace Pie

Clean and cut greens from 1 qt. fresh strawberries.
Cut one half of them in half and set aside for later.
Crush one pint and cook in a small saucepan along with:

3 T. cornstarch
1 cup sugar
2 T. lemon juice

Cook until mixture comes to a boil and is clear and thick.
Remove from heat.
Stir in halved berries.
Turn into baked pie shell and chill for 3-5 hours.
Top with whipped cream.
