Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Brown 1/2 cup sliced unblanched almonds in 350 oven about 5 minutes.

Mix dry ingredients:

1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 T. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Whisk together:

2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin
1 stick butter (4 oz.) melted

Combine dry and wet ingredients.
Fold in nuts and 6 oz. mini chocolate chips.
Place in 12 greased muffin cups, or in papers.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until done.
