Poppyseed Muffins

This recipe works as either muffins or a sweetbread.

Sift , set aside and add last:

4 cups flour
1/2 cup poppyseeds
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda

Beat together:

2 cups sugar
1 cup melted butter

Add 4 beaten eggs.

Add:

11/2 cups sour cream
2 tsp vanilla
lemon rind if desired

Now add flour and poppyseed mixture.
Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
