This recipe is for a double layer 9 inch cake.
Beat 7 oz. softened butter.
Sift together and add:
1 1/8 cups Dutch procss cocoa.
2 !/2 cups sifted confectioner's sugar
2 T. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
Note: add extra milk or confectioner's sugar if needed.
substitute almond flavoring for the vanilla
substitute liquors such as Grand Marnier or Amaretto for the vanilla and some of the milk
