Almond Frangipani Filling for Tarts

This filling adds great flavor to tarts with fruits (pear, apple, cherry), or can be used with stollen or in danish pastry, cookies or muffins.

Blend together:

1/2 lb. almond paste
4 oz. sugar (1 cup)
4 oz. softened unsalted butter
2 oz. cake flour
1 egg white
