Almond Nut Crust

This recipe is for two 9 inch tart pans.

Beat in Mixer and chill 1/2-1 hr.:

10 oz.finely chopped nuts
2 sticks room temperature butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
1 slightly beaten egg
1 tsp. almond extract

Press into two tart pans or pie pans.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

This crust is ideal for a Linzertarte or Pear Frangipani Tart
