Esther Strickland's Ginger Molasses Cookies

Beat together:

10 oz. shortening
1 3/4 cups sugar

Add:

2 eggs
8 T. molasses

Add:

4 tsp. baking soda
4 cups all purppose flour
2 t. cinammon
1 ts. cloves
2 ts. ginger
pinch nutmeg

Bake in 400 oven for 10- 15 minutes.
Yield: 60 cookies
