1 cup oil
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 oz. anise extract
Sift together and add:
8 cups flour (2 at a time, alternating with 1 cup milk)
2T. + 2tsp. baking powder
Let batter rest 20 minutes and then use a butter scoop to measure ballsor roll with hands if preferred.
Dip in confectioner's sugar glaze and while wet sprinkle with nonpareils.
Bake at 375 for 9-10 minutes.
Confectioner's sugar glaze:
Mix together 1 1/2 boxes confectioner's suar with a little milk and a couple of drops of anise extract.
