Granola

Heat until it just starts to boil:

1 cup safflower oil
1 cup honey

Skim foam. Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla if desired.

In a large bowl, combine the following:

5 cups rolled oats
2 cups nuts (sliced almonds, chopped walnuts, pecans,etc.)
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds 
1/2 cup shredded coconut
wheat germ if desired

Pour honey and oil mix over dry ingredients.
Bake on cookie sheets at 325 for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until consistently browned.
Store in airtight container in refrigerator and it will keep for a couple of weeks or more.
